Shirley Ann Smith, 60, of Covington, died Aug. 8. She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are sons and daughter-in-law Jay Waggoner, Kirk and Lindy Waggoner; granddaughter Liberty Waggoner, all of Covington; father James Ryan; brother Melvin Ryan, both of Pennsylvania; sisters Dolores Kifer of North Carolina, Patty Crivella, Caroline Grossman, alma Kelly, all of Pennsylvania, Kathleen Nelson of Florida, Iona Rebic or Oregon.

Funeral services were held Aug. 12 in the Loganville chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Kifer officiating. Interment followed in Corinth Memorial Gardens, Loganville.
