Dear Editor: On behalf of Newton County seniors, I would like to thank the members of our School Board and Dr. Whatley who enabled the voters of Newton county to express themselves. I would like to thank these voters, many of whom were young people, for their support. It is gratifying to know that our citizens care about their grandparents and parents and understand that they will be retired someday and can receive the benefits of this bill. Thank you very much.
