Paul Larson, 56, of Covington, died July 7. The son of the late Evelyn Mary Jensen, he was born in Marshall County, S.D. Mr. Larson served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a heavy equipment operator for Plateau Excavation, a job that he loved. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his truck, watching football, fishing, barbecuing and joking around with friends and family.

Surviving are wife Cheryl Larson of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law Rachael and Paul Ram of Minnesota, Dawn and John Copeland of Monticello, Jessica and Matthew Morelli of Virginia, Jenny Strickland of Covington; grandchildren Justyn Phillips, Alyssa Phillips, Mason Copeland, Miah Ram, Will Ram, Mia Morelli; sisters and brothers-in-law Loretta and Ernie Mondry, Pernel Ellen Larson, Wanda Lee and Bill Heurung, Monica Fay and Henry Laska; brothers and sister-in-law Leroy and Betty Lee Larson, James Avery Larson, Alton L. Larson; father- and mother-in-law Ben and Sally Coletti; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Michael Coletti, Dana and Debbie Coletti, Ben and Bonnie Coletti; niece Jennifer Robinson; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; beloved pets Sheba, Pebbles, Bam-Bam and Rascal.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, at 11 a.m. at County Line Baptist Church with the Rev. Matt Murphy officiating. Flowers are acceptable or those desiring may make a love offering to the family.
