Dessa Morgan Adams and John Jason Edwards were married March 17 at the Marion Hatcher Center, Augusta, with the Rev. Dr. John K. Hill officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Lanier H. Adams of Grovetown and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack H. Morgan, Mrs. Herman P. Adams and the late Mr. Herman P. Adams.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Tricia Wilson and Mr. John Edwards, both of Martinez. He is the grandson of Mrs. Patricia Davis and the late Mr. Troy Davis of Cadillac, Mich., and Mrs. Elise Hollis of Ocean Isle, N.C. and the late Mr. John Edwards.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Miss Meg Adams of Grovetown, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Robin Hagler of Augusta and Mrs. Lauren Burroughs of Martinez.

The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Jackson Boyd of Cadillac and Mr. Crosby Boyd of Lansing, Mich. Flower girls were Miss Jackie Foster and Miss Abigail Hensley of Martinez.

The couple honeymooned in Cost Rica and now reside in Augusta.
