Heather and Octavio Puga announce the birth of their daughter Maya Lidia Puga on Jan. 9 at Rockdale Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparent is Regina Clegg of Oxford. Paternal grandparents are Chrisoforo and Olga Puga of Covington. Great-grandparent is William Sarver of White Lake, Mich. Brother to the newborn is Domonic.
