Mrs. Judith D. Saunders of Gary, Ind. died Sept. 28. The daughter of the late Marvin and Eileen Morlan, Mrs. Saunders was born in 1941. Mrs. Saunders was a homemaker and member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church until her death. She was preceded in death by granddaughter Stefanie Rickord.

Surviving are husband Mr. Earl M. Saunders III of Decatur, Ind.; sons Scott Saunders of Indianapolis, Ind.; David Saunders of Decatur, daughters Lyn (Barney) Rickord of Decatur, Laurie (Dave) Miller of Waterloo, brother Stewart Morlan of Elkhart, and 11 grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 1 at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home in Decatur. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 2 at the Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home with Father David Voors officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
