James Ralph Williams

Mr. James Ralph Williams died March 12. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur (Lucy Mae) Williams, he was born in 1958 in Rockdale County. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Shady Grove Baptist Church in 1965. He later joined True Fellowship Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Deacon Ministry. He was preceded in death by parents and siblings Darlene and Marcus.

Survivivng are wife Mrs. Mary lackey Williams; sons Lavonda Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Tijuan (Aisha) Williams, Bernard lackey; sisters Elizabeth, Deborah, Lisa, Vera Williams; grandchildren Tacoby, Tyonna, Skylar, Lil Ty, Tijuan Jr., Alexis, Tierra, Bernard Jr., Kierstan; aunts Ms. Johnnie Mae Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph (Carolyn) Johnson, Ms. Mattie West, Ms. Nannie R. Ivey, Ms. Essie Lee Carter; uncle Mr. Harvey West; brothers-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Erica) lackey Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Christin) lackey, Mr. Michael Lackey, Mr. Stanley Lackey, Mr. Chris Lackey; special friends Deacon Ed Giles, Mother Mary Sidwell; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held March 19 at Millers Chapel Baptist Church, Conyers, with the Rev. James Gladen officiating. Interment followed at Sims Chapel Cemetery, Covington.
