Hazel May Johnson Standridge died Aug. 24 at Asbury Place. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nicholas Johnson (Sina Mae Dunbar), she was born in Stockton Valley, Loudon County, Tenn. She was preceded in death by husband Dr. Robert W. Standridge, brother Emmett D. Johnson of Maryville, Tenn., and sisters Jewel J. Hardwick, Stacy J. Gibson and Myrtle Johnson. A resident of Asbury Acres Retirement Center, Mrs. Standridge was a member of First Baptist Church, Maryville, Tenn. For many years she was an active, devoted member of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are nephews George W. Johnson and wife Judy of Knopxville, Tenn;, John T. Johnson and wife Jodie of Townsend, Tenn.; niece Peggy

 Gibson Coleman and husband Anthony of Hiawassee; grand-niece Jennifer Johnson of Maryville; stepson Robert E. Standridge and wife Mabel of Social Circle.

A graveside service will be held at West View Cemetery, Atlanta. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist church, 202 W. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, Tenn. 37801.
