Mickey and Susan Gerstman of Russellville, Ala., announce the engagement of forthcoming marriage of their daughter Lindsay Brooke Gerstman to Michael Brent Almond, son of Terry and Sherry Almond of Covington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Joseph and Terra Mae Gerstman of Boaz and the late Robert F. and Ethelene Crowder of Russellville. She is a graduate of Russellville High School, attended the University of North Alabama where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta and a graduate of Auburn University with a doctorate of pharmacy. She is currently employed as a pharmacist at CVS, Birmingham.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Lewis and Berta McElreath of Covington and Nathan and Sybil Montgomery of Mansfield. He is a graduate of Newton County High School and the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. He is employed as an account executive with Gentiva in Birmingham.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., March 29, at First Baptist Church, Russellville with the Rev. Richard Parker officiating. A reception will be held at Locust Hill in Tuscumbia.
