The Georgia Wrath travel baseball team from Social Circle won first place in the Battle of the Bats III Tournament held last weekend at Criswell Park in Monroe.

After facing some tough competition and playing in extreme weather conditions, the young players were able to pull out a 14-2 win in the championship game.

"I am very proud of our boys," said Georgia Wrath head coach Rick Kerbow. "They played with heart this weekend and it showed!"

The Georgia Wrath include Dalton Smith, Austin Kerbow, Dalton Cole, Austin Holloway, Josh Sims, Brantley Proffitt, Logan Hinson, Dallis Forsyth, Charlie Greenich and Brennan Carter.

The assistant coaches include Jason Holloway, Curt Hinson and Bobby Sims.
