Ethel I. Caron

Ms. Ethel I. Caron, 87, of Monticello died August 30. The daughter of the late George and Rose Daragon, she was born in Providence, R.I. on Feb. 9, 1921. Mrs. Caron moved to this area from Conyers five and a half years ago. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church, was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo. She was retired from K-Mart, where she worked as a bookkeeper.

Mrs. Caron is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Raymond F. Caron. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Carol Kirk of Glendale Heights, Ill., Robert and Katie Caron of Monticello; daughter, Deborah Caron of Deep Gap, N.C.; grandchildren, Karen Ehrhart, Kenneth Brown, Chase Caron, Jessi Caron; great-grandchildren, Brittney Jaddi and Morgan Ehrhart.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3 at Wheeler Funeral Home. The funeral for Mrs. Caron will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 4 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Reece officiating the service. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
