Mr. Charles Franklin Borg, 48, of Covington, died July 15. The son of the late John E. Borg Sr. and Doris Hatten Borg, he was born in Fulton County. He worked as a concrete foreman and attended church at the Christian Fellowship Worship Center, Conyers. Mr. Borg loved his son and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed making people laugh and hunting and fishing.

Surviving are wife Teresa Borg and son Brandon Borg, both of Covington; brothers John E. Borg Jr. of Tucker, Jim A. Borg of Conyers; friend Scott Daffinson; nieces and nephews Sabrina Borg, Blake Borg, Austin Borg, Delanie Borg, Corey Borg, Hunter Borg.

The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral Home today, July 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. July 20 at Christian Fellowship Center, 1790 Ebenezer Road, Conyers, with the Rev. Clarence E. Cates and the Rev. Cecil Scott officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Prevent Child Abuse/Newton County, 8134 Geiger St. NW, Covington, 30014.
