Bob Banks, 52, of Loganville, died May 25 at Walton Regional Medical Center. The son of the late Robert Manly Banks and widower of Alma Hayes Banks, he was of the Baptist faith, loved his family and enjoyed racing and fishing. Mr. Banks was preceded in death by brother Tim Banks and sister Deborah Banks.

Surviving are mother Martha Griffith of Oxford; sisters and brother-in-law Teresa and Vic Smith, Martha Cantrell, all of Covington; brothers and sisters-in-law Allen and Tammy Banks, Boyd and Kitty Banks, Randy Banks, all of Oxford, Gary and Teresa Banks of Social Circle; several nieces and nephews; special friend Terri Hodges.

Funeral services will be held today, May 28, at 2 p.m. in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Larry Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Hays Family Cemetery, Mansfield.
