Newton County Sheriff's Deputy Patrick Gilbert was dispatched to Cooper Road for a wreck with injuries Wednesday, where he discovered Eugene Hodges, 73, trapped under an overturned ATV.

The Newton County Fire Department arrived and turned the four-wheeler over and off Hodges. The Newton County EMS checked out the victim out for injuries, but he refused medical assistance.

Hodges and the four-wheeler were released to his son.
