Annie Pauline Baker Farley

Mrs. Annie Pauline Baker Farley died Oct. 16. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Leola) Baker, she was born in 1933 in Newton County. She was raised and educated in Newton County and employed by Oxford Industries, Stanley Tools and Hercules Corp. She joined Sims Chapel Baptist Church at an early age and was actively involved until her health failed.

Surviving are husband of 36 years Mr. Arthur Farley; son Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Inger) Farley; brothers Mr. and Mrs. Howard (Lavern) Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph (Marion) Baker; sisters Mrs. Dorothy Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. George (Ruth) Hamm, Mrs. Gloria Ashby; grandsons Kentaurius and Justin Farley; extended daughter Ms. Cassandra Williams; aunt Mrs. Emma Allen; stepchildren Dwayne, Sandra and Davelyn Farley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at Sims Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Cecil Rozier officiating. Interment followed at Sims Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
