Get your golden tickets and head on over to Rockdale County High School this weekend for the staging of the spring musical, "Willy Wonka."
This candy-coated, technicolor production follows the adventures of Charlie Bucket as he and four other lucky golden ticket winners take a fantastic tour of Willy Wonka's candy factory and the hard lessons that are learned.
This year's production, directed by Gus Godbee and assistant director Enid Smith with musical direction from Scott Stanton, features a double cast as each role is played by two students.
Showtimes are on April 11, 12 at 7 p.m., April 13 and 14 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Rockdale County High School Auditorium.
Tickets are $5 for students and senior citizens and $10 for adults.
