Rockdale County High School placed second with their play “Will and Whimsy” at the regional Georgia High School Association One-Act Play competition hosted Oct. 17 at Heritage High School. RCHS students won the following awards: Best Ensemble Performance by a School; Best Set Design - Designed and painted by Michael Knoblock; Jessica Dugan and Dave DiPietro; Dream Cast Member - Katlyn Firkus - "The Bard;" Dream Cast Member - Richard Lee - "Bill & Earl.” RCHS is now turning its attention to the spring musical “Bye Bye Birdie” with auditions before Christmas and rehearsals in January.
