UPDATE: Second accident near dump truck accident

UPDATE (Dec. 15, 12:31 p.m.): The driver of the Yukon was transported to Atlanta Medical The white Nissan was reportedly heading south on Klondike and the Yukon was on Iris Drive.

(Dec. 15, 12:21 p.m.): The second accident involved a white Nissan Sentra and a blue GMC Yukon. Paramedics and first responders extracted the driver of the Yukon, a black female, from the SUV which was damaged on the driver's side.

(Dec. 15, 11:58 a.m.): Police report an additional accident on Klondike Road at Iris Drive. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

(Dec. 15, 11:52 a.m.): The driver of the dump truck, a white male, was reportedly taken by ambulance to Grady Memorial hospital for his injuries in the single vehicle accident. The northbound lanes are blocked with debris, a gravel-like material, and the truck. Southbound lanes are slow.

(Dec. 15, 11:33 a.m.) IN BRIEF: A dump truck reportedly overturned onto its side in front of McDonald's on the northbound lanes of Klondike Road, near the entrance to Interstate 20. Drivers are advised to avoid the area. Injuries are reported, according to the Conyers police.
