Valedictorian Kerrie Michelle Grunnet

 Higher Education: University of Georgia

Course of Study: Biology and eventually either pre-med or pharmacy

On being named valedictorian: "It’s really exciting and I was surprised. It’s a combination of hard work, supportive parents and the great support system at Salem that is made up of teachers and friends."

Membership: Varsity Cheer leading, Varsity Tennis, President of the National Honor Society, and Science Honor Society (among other organizations)

The thing she’ll miss most about Salem: The closeness at Salem and the great teachers, friends and the wonderful memories they’ve created together.

Salutatorian Kaya Grace Porter

Higher Education: University of Georgia

Course of Study: Double major Political Science and Psychology. She plans to go on to law school and wants to be a judge

On being named salutatorian: "I feel very thankful. I worked really hard over the last 4 years and I appreciate the honor."

Memberships: Band, President of the Student Council, National Honors Society, Jefferson Society and Soccer
