Jorge Luis Roldan, of Livingston Lane, Covington, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after a shooting in the Ellington community Friday afternoon.

When Newton County Sheriff's deputies arrived to the scene on Greenway Drive and Timberlake Terrace, they discovered a 17-year-old male was shot during an alleged drug transaction.

Multiple suspects were taken into custody at the time, and the teenager was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
