Police find missing Conyers teen

Update, 11/8/10, 5:26 p.m.: Conyers Police have located Exzavis Jerrod Smith, the teen that was reported missing over the weekend, and said he is doing well. The RCHS student was found at his mother's sisters residence in Jonesboro in Clayton County by Clayton County officers upon request of CPD detectives. It was not known how Smith transported himself to Jonesboro. He reportedly left his home last Wednesday after a domestic altercation.

(11/7/10, 10:40 a.m.) Conyers police have released an alert for a missing Conyers teen, Exzavis Jerrod  Smith.

Smith, 15, reportedly came home after school Wednesday, Nov. 3, gave his bookbag to his older brother, and left, refusing to say where he was going. The Rockdale County High School student has not been seen at home or school since.

With the cold temperatures and the lack of activity on his cell phone, investigators are asking the public to notify them with any information about the whereabouts of Smith.

Smith is described as about 6 feet 2 inches tall, 230 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with turquoise symbols, a white or black T-shirt, a black hoodie, and white and turquoise Addidas tennis shoes.
