Bald Rock Baptist, NAACP celebrates Black History Month Feb. 28

Bald Rock Baptist Church of Conyers and the Rockdale County chapter of the NAACP will host a Community Black History Month Program on Feb. 28, 5 p.m.

Pastor Chris Shipp of Bald Rock Baptist Church described the event as one that promises to be both educational and entertaining. Pastor Shipp said, "All youth are invited to participate and join the Youth Council" which is under the leadership of Brian Jenkins.

The Community Black History Month Program takes place on Saturday, Feb. 28, 5 p.m. at Bald Rock Baptist Church. The church is located at 2284 Old Covington Highway, Conyers, GA 30013.

The event is free and open to the public.
