The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office made one arrest in an armed robbery case that occurred in April.

Walton County resident Lekeenan Goolsby, 22, was arrested Saturday at his residence in Monroe, Ga. He's facing charges of armed robbery and kidnapping for his alleged role in the robbery that occurred nine months ago.

The target of the robbery was O'Reilly Auto Parts, 1711 Ga. Highway 138, Rockdale County. On April 29, around 9:30 p.m., two male individuals, who wore "Jamaican style caps with fake facial hair," tied up two store employees and took cash from the store, according to the incident report.

Both suspects had firearms described as full-size automatic handguns, says RCSO spokesperson Cpl. Michael Camp.

"They just targeted that specific store for whatever reason," says Camp.

Goolsby, who may be related to other robberies in other districts, was a prime suspect in the case. The RCSO recently acquired enough evidence to take out an arrest warrant on him.

He's currently in Rockdale County Jail.

The RCSO is still investigating the case and hasn't made an arrest on the other suspect, says Camp.
