Raymond G. Potts, age 62, of Covington, died May 1, 2010, at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle. Known as a “fixer of all things”, he was an avid fisherman and was a self-employed mechanic. He was predeceased by his parents, John David and Effie Lucille George Potts. Mr. Potts is survived by his wife, Glenda Potts; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Corey Williams of Zachery, LA; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sherry Blake of Conyers and Matt and Ginger Potts of Covington; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Wilkinson of Virginia and Jane Potts of Covington; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Yvonne Potts of Monroe, James Potts of Rome and Grady and Gail Potts of Conyers; several nieces and nephews.
