Patricia Annette Burford Cronan, 72, of Greensboro, died Dec. 16 at Rockdale Hospital, Conyers. The daughter of the late James Curtis Burford and Nellie Frances Capp Burford, she was born in Henry County in 1936. She attended Jackson High School and married in 1955. While living in Conyers, she worked for Pacific Coverall Sewing Factory and Green Brothers Nursery. She enjoyed gardening, working with flowers and being with her family and friends. Mrs. Cronan did volunteer work at Green Point and Warrenton nursing homes.

Surviving are husband of 54 years Charles T. Cronan of Greensboro; sons Charles Jeffrey ‘Jeppy" Cronan and wife Myra of Greensboro, Joel S. "Joe" Cronan and wife Andrea of Eatonton; sisters Endora Hart and husband Charles of Jenkinsburg, Mable Lloyd and husband Lonny of Jenkinsburg, Dotty Kirby and husband Jay of Locust Grove; sister-in-law Margaret Burford of Griffin; brother Larry Burford and wife Barbara of Barnesville; grandchildren Rachel Cronan, Elizabeth Cronan, Jason W. Cronan, Jarrell Cronan, Jodi Cronan; a number of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Cronan was preceded in death by brother James Eugene Burford.

Funeral services were held Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Kitchens and the Rev. Tracy Miller officiating. Interment followed at Siloam Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Mark Elrod, Jason Cronan, Jarrel Cronan, Doug Higdon, Keith Moody and Jeremy Bunn.
