Pamela Susan Crawford of Covington, GA passed away on July 3, 2012. She was born on May 25, 1950 in Porterdale, GA to Blanche Ellington Jones and Wallace Jones.

She was a loving and devoted mother, a doting grandmother, and caring aunt. She was a passionate teacher, having taught with dedication for 23 years in the Newton County School System. She was also a talented artist, exhibiting her oil paintings in various festivals and galleries throughout the South. She loved spending time with her family and their pets most of all.

Ms. Crawford is survived by daughter Davina McGrail of Memphis TN, daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Andy Torres of Miami FL, granddaughter Alexandra McGrail of Memphis TN, sisters Dale and Tommy Scarborough of Covington GA, Kay Stowe of Mebane NC, brother Roger and Hui Jones of Stockbridge GA and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and her sister Lynn Burton.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on July 7, 2012 at Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 12:00-2:00PM.
