Mrs. Pam Carithers, 52, of Covington, passed away Jan. 26 at Newton Medical Center. She was born in Cynthiana, Ky., in 1960. She was the owner and operator of Pam Taxi in Covington. She was also of the Christian faith and a member of Trinity Praise Center.

Mrs. Carithers is survived by her husband James Carithers; sons James Edward Carithers of Covington, Bryan Jay Carithers of New Mexico; mother Susan Jennings of Covington; father Carl Jennings; seven grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Edward and Janet Jennings of Montgomery, Ala.; nieces and nephews Christopher, Taylor and Ashlyn Jennings and Daniel Chavez; half brother and sister Bonnie Sauer and Butch Jennings, both of Ohio; aunts of Kentucky Nana Humphries and Mary Ann May, along with multiple other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carithers will be held at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 30, at the chapel of J. C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Bishop Larry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at New Covington Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
