Mr. Donald Edwards, age 77, of Covington passed away November 20, 2015.  He was born October 22, 1938 in Covington, Georgia to the late Hollis and Lois Fincher Edwards.  Mr. Edwards was a lifelong resident of the Stewart Community.  He was a member of Red Oak United Methodist Church.  Mr. Edwards also attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was currently attending Stewart Community Church.  He retired from Essex Wire and Cable and also worked from Hooten Motors, Allen Auto Parts and B & H Wrecker. 

Mr. Edwards is survived by his daughter; Donna Dorton, his brothers and sister-in-law; Billy Edwards, Stanley and Mary Edwards along his grandchildren; Crystal Brown and Allen Dorton and his great grandchildren; Matthew Brown, Samantha Brown and J.P. Morgan.  He is also survived by 2 nephews along with other family and close friends. 

Funeral services for Mr. Edwards will be held at 11 o’clock, Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 4pm until 6pm on Sunday, November 22, 2015.  J.C.
