     Mr. Cleo Banks, Jr. was born April 5, 1937 in Monticello, Georgia, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Cleo (Lurlene) Banks, Sr.

     He attended school in Jasper County. Cleo was employed with the Covington Police Department and the Newton County Sheriff Department until his retirement in 1991.

     He departed this earthly life on April 17, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Adelaide Banks, two brothers and four sisters.

     He leaves to cherish his memories, four sons; Mr. Henry James Cooksey, Mr.  & Mrs. David (Shirley) Cooksey, Mr. & Mrs. Kevin (Jennifer) Banks and Mr. & Mrs. Michael (Nichelle) Banks, one brother, Mr. & Mrs. Julius Banks, two sisters, Mr. & Mrs. Ravis (Vera) Freeman and Ms. Minnie Weaver, a devoted caregiver, Ms. Mattie Goggins, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
