Mr. Larry L. Haley died Aug. 8. He was born in 1949 in Tuscaloosa, Ala., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carlos (Elnora) Haley. Mr. Haley was raised and educated in Tuscaloosa. He was a member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church and a graduate of Drew High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Mississippi Valley State University and worked as a salesman. Due to his impeccable work ethic and dynamic personality, he excelled in his field. Mr. Haley moved to Georgia in the 1970s and worked at Haverty’s Furniture Store. He joined Whites Chapel United Methodist Church, Conyers. In 1996, he married Annie Lois Hurst. Mr. Haley was a loving, intelligent and dependable person with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a loved by all those whose lives he touched and was an avid sports fan. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are wife Mrs. Annie Lois Haley; daughters Dr. and Mrs. Lavian (Monica) Coleman, LaToria Haley; step-daughter Ms. Tawona Sims; step-son Mr. and Mrs. Darrion (Tina) Height Sr.; grandchildren Darrion Jr., Damon, Anna, Kie’Ambrelyn, Nadashia, Samiyah, Haley and Miles; great-grandchildren Alea and Keliegh; brother Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Marjorie) Haley; brothers-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Juilia) Hurst Jr., Mr. Stewart Hurst, Mr. Charlie Hurst, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin (Vera) Hurst; sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Wallace (Eunice) Smith; maternal aunts/uncles Clepatra Lark (Charles), Winnie Fant, John A. Lee (Joan); paternal aunts/uncles Becky Adams (John), Amos Haley (Bobbie), Earl Haley (Regina), Theodis Haley, Ruth Billups, Daisy Rice; special friend Charles Cutler; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, at Whites Chapel United Methodist Church, Conyers, with Pastor Julius Kidd, Dr. Becky Adams and the Rev. Carl Burns officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
