Joe Bowen, 36, of Madison, died on Oct. 28.  The son of  Sammy Bowen and the late Martha Jean Phelps Bowen, he was born in Decatur in 1974. 

Surviving are father and step-mother Sammy and Billie Sue Bowen of Madison, sisters Darlene Burt of Lawrenceville and Rhonda Knight of Mansfield one niece and two nephews.
