Donald M. Cronic, Jr. of Covington died Sunday,  Dec. 25, at  his residence.  The son of Donald M., Sr., and Annette G. Cronic, he was born in 1961 in Madison. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather and grandfather. He was a member of Carpenter Union 225. He enjoyed coaching Little League sports for 15 years. He also was an avid Georgia football fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Mr. Cronic is survived by his wife Kim Cronic; parents Donald, Sr. and Annette Cronic of Covington; son Donald M. Cronic III of Covington; stepson Matthew Rodman of Covington; stepdaughter Hailey Rodman of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law Lisa and Chris Longdin of Covington, Leslie and Sonny Dotson of Covington; brothers Tim and Gail Cronic of Covington, Jeff and Nancy Cronic of Newborn; grandchildren Skylar Longdin and Zoey Dotson; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 28, at the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Pastor Len Strozier officiating. Interment will be at New Covington Cemetery. Guests may sign the online register book at www.wheelerfuneralhome.com.
