Fulton County courthouse evacuated

UPDATE: Authorities say normal operations have resumed at the Fulton County Courthouse.

Sheriff's office spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan said people have returned to the downtown Atlanta complex after authorities searched the area Monday morning.

Flanagan said someone had called in a bomb threat.

The building was briefly evacuated and several streets surrounding the courthouse, including Peachtree, Martin Luther King and Forsyth, were blocked off while authorities investigate.
