COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) - Little league officials in Columbus say a brawl involving adults that was captured on videotape is an embarrassment to the players and the city.
The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports that the fighting broke out Friday evening, minutes after a game between Northern Little League and Harris County. Two adults were arrested and ordered to appear in court on Aug. 16.
Video shows two middle-aged men fighting near an outfield wall. Other fans rush to the scene, with some adults trying to break up the altercation.
Little League District 8 Administrator Bernard Ashley, who has been involved with the league for 35 years, says it was "about the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in Little League in all the years I've been doing it."
No serious injuries were reported.
