The Covington News, Square Perk and Mainstreet Covington are teaming up to shine a little light on the 2014 Holiday season.

The Covington Square will be aglow in more than 70,000 lights, but the spectacle won’t stop there this year. Stretching outward from the Square, historic downtown Covington residents will have a chance to participate in the first Christmas lights contest.

Prizes will be awarded to the residence with the display that best entertains and shows the Holiday spirit.
