A Covington man who resigned last week as principal at the Alpha Academy, Rockdale County Public Schools’ program for students with disciplinary issues, is being considered for charges of sexual battery after allegations of inappropriate behavior arose from a student. Rockdale County Superior Court Chief Judge David Irwin is considering whether to issue the warrant for Greg Brown, who had been principal of the Alpha Academy since 2009. Brown resigned effective Feb. 27.
