The Covington News hosted its first-ever Autumn Fest Saturday, Sept. 20 right in the office parking lot just off the downtown Square. Dozens came to browse about 30 vendors and craftmakers and do some early holiday shopping. Products ranged from gourmet coffee to homemade preserves to handcrafted crocheted items and children’s books. Live entertainment was provided by local Ashley Walden. Darrell Everidge, The News photographer, was available to take portraits. Here’s a few scenes.
