Zoo Atlanta announced that it was going to ask the public to suggest names for the cute new Panda twins. Some suggestions that zoo officials have made include Mei Lun and Mei Hua.

We realize the pandas are here only because of the kindness of the Chinese government, but why can’t they be named names that make sense to us Americans? After all, the little cutie pies were born here.

So, we’re going to take the zoo up on its offer to suggest a name. Here are a few suggestions: Mary, Harry, Frank, Kevin and Josie. If you have some suggestions, drop us a note at news@rockdalenews.com. We will print your suggestions and make sure the zoo receives them.
