UPDATE: A pedestrian struck by a tractor trailer on Ga. Highway 138 Friday afternoon died from his injuries. The accident occurred on Friday, around 2:20 p.m. on Ga. Highway 138 near South Main Street. The man, believed to be in his 60s, was pushing a bicycle across Highway 138 when a tractor trailer traveling northbound struck him.
