Rockdale residents took advantage of the sunny weather in the first half of Saturday with events and activities such as the first ever Parents Academy, the Hogs for Dogs fundraiser for the Gwinnett Humane Society at Stone Mountain Harley Davidson, and a car wash by members of the Rockdale County High School Marching Band. The Parents Academy, organized by Rockdale County Public Schools at the Rockdale Career Academy, saw more than 200 registered parents and more than 100 registered children.
