A tour of history
TourHomes14

Ever driven through Newborn and glanced at the gorgeous old houses? Of course you have, and if you’re anything at all like me, you’ve wished you could get a peek inside to see if they are as lovely on the inside as they are on the out. Well, now’s your chance! The Newborn Garden Club is hooking you up with a look inside a 1800s dormitory that’s being turned into a B&B, a warehouse and general store that’s gotten a new lease on life, a 1920s schoolhouse, a former dilapidated house and the old Methodist parsonage. I’ve been on a tour of homes before, and it’s pretty fun. Make sure you wear the right shoes though. You’ll be one step ahead of me.

Price: $15 for advance tickets; $20 at the door
