Rockdale County kicked off the holiday season with a high stepping, Hometown Holidays Parade and Tree Lighting ceremony on Saturday. This year's theme was "A Star Spangled Christmas," featuring floats from groups throughout the community decorated in red, white and blue, performances by local choirs and dance groups, food and, of course, appearances by Santa. Food donations for the food pantry program were also collected.
