A Southern gospel music concert is coming to Newton County to help raise money for a new school program that will teach the gospel. The Inspirations and The Johnson Brothers will perform at 7 p.m., Saturday at Eastridge Community Church, 863 Ga. Highway 142 East, Covington; tickets are $10 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Newton County Christian Learning Center, a start-up program that will offer religious studies to public school students at outside locations.
