Mrs. Shirley Ann Ellis, age 61 of Newborn passed away at her residence on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Mrs. Ellis was born in Lansing, MI to the late Clifford P. Jensen and Donna M. Savage. She was a homemaker, an avid pet lover and a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She was predeceased by her brothers Richard Perry, Phillip Perry and sister Sherry Perry. Mrs. Ellis is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Alicia Buckmaster and Martin Kirkland of Newborn; grandchildren Josh Harp and James Harp; sisters Donna Revelette, Linda Chaney, Beatrice Detillian, all of Michigan and Tammy Perry of Washington State; brothers Walt Farnsworth and Thomas Perry of Michigan and William Perry of Florida; granddaughter-in-law Renea Voiselle and grandson-in-law Kendal Lassiter; special niece Davelyn Delancey and her children Savannah Harp, Tyler Harp, Jessie Harp and Shaun Delancey.

A gathering of friends will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 12 noon to 5 pm at Almon Baptist Church. Brother Jimmy Glaze will officiate the Memorial Service.Wheeler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
