The Covington Elks Lodge recently held a Santa Claus party for area special-needs children. A snack buffet was provided, and each child took home several gifts. Also included were a visit from Santa; "Twas the "Night before Christmas" told by Elk Reed Blakeney and Elkadette Mikey Wagy, and fun Christmas music provided by local Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame entertainer Anita Denny.
