Resurgens Orthopaedics - Georgia's largest orthopaedic practice - continues to grow and expand its services with the addition of orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Chealon D. Miller to its Covington office (3211 Iris Drive).
"We are thrilled to have Dr. Miller at Resurgens," said Resurgens co-president Dr. Kay Kirkpatrick. "His presence at the Covington office will help us expand our services to patients in the area and continue our mission to provide state-of-the-art orthopaedic care to patients close to home."
Dr. Miller received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, and completed his residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, Pa. Dr. Miller's areas of expertise include sports medicine, arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, and general orthopaedics. His background in sports medicine as the Associate Team Physician (Fellow) for the University of Pittsburgh football team and the Robert Morris University hockey team will be a great asset for injured athletes in the community.
"I'm eager to start serving patients and to collaborate with the talented staff and physicians at Resurgens," said Dr. Miller.
