Tickets remain for the Newton County Legislature Prayer Breakfast, which will be held at 7 a.m. Friday at the Turner Lake Recreation Complex in Covington.

Breakfast will be presented at the free event courtesy of Chik-fil-A, and the featured speaker will by Jackie Gingrich Cushman, a syndicated newspaper columnist.

Local, state and federal government representatives will join in prayer concerns at the nondenominational, nonpartisan breakfast.
