CONYERS - The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office and Conyers Police Department joint narcotics/vice unit recovered about a kilogram of cocaine, handgun and hundreds of thousands in cash in a north Rockdale home. The Narcotics and Vice unit began investigating 2141 Lake Rockaway Road unit after receiving a tip that a suspect might be involved in drug trafficking and money laundering. On July 16, the Narcotics and Vice Unit executed a search warrant around 3 p.m. About a kilogram of cocaine and about $300,000 in cash was recovered at the residence along with a handgun.
