The 291st Graduation Class of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center-Athens Academy held its graduation March 24 at the Winder Community Center.
The Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) had three graduates from the class; Deputy Ezekiel Walker, Deputy Jordan Fincher and Deputy Luke Hanes.
Walker received the Top Gun Award for the highest average in six, 30 round courses of fire.
Walker, Fincher and Hanes will be joining the NCSO Uniform Patrol Division.
