Missing teen found, but questions remain
Police wonder where 15-year-old was for 2 weeks
Missing Juvenile
Christa Ragan Mobley, 15, of Porterdale, was reported missing on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017. She returned to her family Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017.

PORTERDALE, Ga. — A teenager who had been missing for more than a week came home without incident Sunday.

That doesn’t mean the mystery about her disappearance is solved.

Christa Ragan Mobley, 15, was reunited with her family on Sunday, Porterdale police Cpl. Charles Cook said.

“She had contact with the family and her brother picked her up somewhere in Conyers,” Cook said Monday.

Christa’s family reported her as arunaway on Nov. 20. Her mother, Nicole Bullard, had told The Covington News she thought Christa was pregnant, and that might be the reason she ran away.

Cook said the family was “ecstatic to have her home.” But, he said Christa has not divulged the details of her disappearance or of what she was doing during the nearly two weeks she was gone.

“I want to see who she was with and where she was,” he said. “I’d like to know that puzzle piece, if you will.

“She’s home with her family, and we’d like to know where she’s been for the past week.”

Anyone with information on the case may call Cook at 678-740-2622 or the Porterdale Police Department at 770-786-2226.
